What is ModPlayer ?

	ModPlayer is a music program which is capable of playing .MOD music files.
This format was originally developed for Amiga computer but today you can use
these files with Macintosh, Atari ST and PC. This file format's strongets points
are good sound quality and compact size.

Why should I use ModPlayer ?

	There are several sound-tracker programs available for Macintosh.
Antoine Rosset's Player Pro and  Frank Seide's Sound-Trecker are widely used
and well known programs. They offer great number of features and therefore
they use a lot of hard disk space. ModPlayer was designed to be small but it still
offers many useful features.

	68020 processor or better
	1000 Kb free RAM


Recommended

	External speakers or headphones
	256 colors/grays

ModPlayer is not tested with multiple monitors, PowerPC or System 7.5.

  About ModPlayer...Shows information about ModPlayer.
  Help..........................Shows Help dialog.

File menu
  Open.........................Displays Open dialog.
  Close........................Disposes loaded music from memory.
  Save.........................Saves loaded music in Amiga SoundTracker format.
  Preferences............Displays Peferences dialog.
  Quit...........................Quits ModPlayer.

Edit menu
Not available.




Show splash-screen
	If selected, splash-screen is shown at startup.
Show Open dialog
	If selected, open dialog is shown after startup process.
Hide other applications
	If selected, other windows are hidden at startup.
Remember settings
	If selected, settings are saved when quitting and remembered at startup.
Remember window location
	If selected, window location is saved when quitting and remembered at startup.
Speaker volume
	Sets internal speaker volume to selected value.
Change file icons
	If selected, file icons are changed to ModPlayer icons.
Show all file types
	If selected, all file types are shown in Open dialog.
